Toshiba and SpeQtral to Present Cutting-Edge Quantum Security Solutions for Singapore Enterprises at ATxSG 2024

Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (TAPL) and SpeQtral, a leading quantum communications technology company, will present their latest quantum key distribution (QKD) products and services at the Asia Tech Singapore (ATxSG) 2024 event. This partnership aims to equip Singapore enterprises with cutting-edge quantum-safe data communications, enhancing their digital infrastructure against emerging cybersecurity threats. In November 2023, the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) appointed SpeQtral and SPTel to jointly build the National Quantum-Safe Network Plus (NQSN+), Singapore’s first nationwide quantum-safe network. SpeQtral and SPTel will leverage Toshiba’s fibre-based QKD and Quantum Key Management System (Q-KMS) to support the deployment. Beyond terrestrial-based fibre QKD solutions, SpeQtral also offers satellite QKD hardware, software, and services for long-distance, intercontinental quantum-safe data transmission. Toshiba and SpeQtral will also conduct workshops at the Quantum Networks EXperience Centre (QNEX) to create awareness and foster a deeper understanding of quantum security solutions among enterprises in Singapore. Attendees of ATxSG 2024 will learn about the latest advancements in quantum-safe communications and experience Toshiba and SpeQtral’s QKD solutions.
